The base of the Racing Seat is the racing seat that mimics all the aspects of a real-life Formula racing car and the frame that connects the seat with the pedal-wheel rail. This frame and seat also contain prefabricated mounts for accessories such as seatbelts, wheels or pedals.

Upgrades can include bass speakers for mimicking engine vibration and an off-centered vibrator that simulates rumble strips.

Optionally, the rig and its components can be enclosed in a streamlined, custom-designed cover, complete with an openable, realistic canopy.

Design

Fans of car racing are inherently design conscious. As the Racing Seat was developed for the home, arcades, e-sport bars or even offices, it was designed to be radically functional, yet strikingly sleek and futuristic.

The design deliberately avoids the looks of a chopped up racing car and rather focuses on a unique aesthetics of blending automotive design and gaming.

The covers are made of lightweight carbon fiber and fiberglass, while the frame and rails are made of steel for durability.

The Racing Seat was inspired by the love of speed, gaming and simulation and designed to fully immerse its pilot into the thrill of a Formula race.
